From a blocked decision to reliable measures
The decision and definitions come first. Data access and technology are selected only after Novex understands what must be measured and how the result will be used.
Decision and metric discovery
We speak with the people who own or use the figures. Comparing how each person describes the same measure reveals where definitions, timing, and responsibilities differ.
Week 1Definitions and scoping
We settle what counts as a sale, how returns and credit notes are treated, how often each source really updates, and who owns each definition going forward. In writing, even if that owner is one person.
Week 2Data audit
We locate the records needed for each measure and quantify the differences between what was contracted, invoiced, adjusted, collected, or otherwise relevant to the decision. You receive the findings report even if you stop here.
Weeks 2–4Implementation, validation, and handoff
We implement the agreed reconciliation and reporting process in the appropriate environment. Totals are validated against accounting within a written tolerance, followed by leadership presentation, team training, and maintainable documentation.
Weeks 4–10Delivery principles
How we establish reliable results
Technology follows the business need. Novex can improve an existing Excel process, implement reporting in Power BI, or use local or cloud-based analytical tools when the requirements justify them. We work with the systems and information the client already has whenever practical.

Information, definitions, and delivery logic remain under your control and are documented for continuity.

A figure that does not reconcile to the income statement does not get published, no matter how well presented.
Every number has an origin
Decision-critical figures can be traced to their source records. Where appropriate, validation tests identify problems before information reaches leadership.
Maintain it with support available
Your team receives the documentation needed for day-to-day use. Novex can also provide periodic validation and improvements through a separate support agreement.
